This includes the communities of Pine City, Beroun, Hinckley, Finlayson, Sandstone, Rutledge, Banning Junction, Askov, Bruno, Kerrick, Duquette, Willow River, Windemere Township and our hometown of Sturgeon Lake. In addition we are closely connected, as most small town areas are with our neighbors to the north; and the communities of Moose Lake, Barnum, Kettle River, Automba, Mahtowa, Holyoke, Nickerson, Cromwell, Carlton and Cloquet.

Because both Pine and Carlton County are conveniently located within a few hours of the Twin Cities and Duluth and within easy access by Interstate 35, it is considered one of the top recreational destinations for Minnesotans and vacationers alike. With some of the most popular lakes and rivers in our backyard, we have some of the best boating, fishing, water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and ice-fishing in Minnesota. We are very excited about our purchase and renovation of an old historical building in the City of Sturgeon Lake. It was formally a gas station, bait shop, convenience store, bar and as of late a rental property. We have restored the building to its former self with modern materials; leaving the hip roof with the drive-under canopy and the great lights. Our office is located on the Southeast corner of Pine County Highway 61 and County Road 46 in the City of Sturgeon Lake. From Interstate 35 take the Sturgeon Lake exit # 209 and travel West 1.7 miles. Look for the big white pine and you are there! Vern Anderson Broker/Owner Hello, my name is Vern Anderson, I was born and raised in the Sturgeon Lake area, and have been in the real estate business for over 5 years. I am the Minnesota Licensed Broker and co-owner of Sturgeon Lake Realty LLC I, along with my wife, Christina, and our four children, call Sturgeon Lake our home. My family is my priority and they are very supportive of the demanding career I am in, and for that I appreciate their patience. As for me personally, I am a true 'born and raised in Minnesota' native. I grew up loving all the seasons Minnesota has to offer (except perhaps the really freezing below-zero days.but then again, I love to say that I survived a deep freeze!) I have lived in the Sturgeon Lake area since 1999 when I married my terrific husband Phillip Perrine. My husband has been extremely supportive of my decision to open a real estate company and understands the commitment this will take. I am very grateful for my entire families support in this new adventure. When I'm not working, I try to spend time doing a little gardening, some pottery, and being a foster home for elderly horses with special care needs, as well as taking care of a bunch of cats and a dog.
